Treats vaginal (genital) infections
Cleanses genital tract prior to gynaecological procedures
NUXTA 3 SUPPOSITORY is effective in treating both bacterial and fungal genital infections. It works by killing the susceptible microorganism that causes infection within the body. It contains two medicines namely clindamycin and clotrimazole.
Clindamycin is an antibacterial agent. It blocks the production of certain bacterial proteins which is essential for the bacteria to survival. This action prevents the further growth and multiplication of bacteria within the body
Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent. It blocks the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the fungal cell which is essential for its survival. This action kills the susceptible fungi and prevents the further spread of infection.
